The Dutch government will meet tomorrow to discuss merging telecoms regulator OPTA with two other supervising bodies, according to reports translating local paper Financieele Dagblad.
According to the reported plan, OPTA would be merged with competition authority NMa and the Consumer Authority to form one super regulator.
Part of the Dutch Healthcare Authority could also join the new administrative body to avoid overlapping responsibilities, reports add.
