The Brazilian telco Oi has confirmed that it has appointed Francisco Valim as CEO.
He will take up the post in September.
He will replace Luiz Eduardo Falco Pires Correa, who will continue as CEO until 30 June.

The Brazilian telco Oi has confirmed that it has appointed Francisco Valim as CEO.
He will take up the post in September.
He will replace Luiz Eduardo Falco Pires Correa, who will continue as CEO until 30 June.
In the interim between the outgoing CEO’s departure and Valim’s start, the duties of CEO will be carried out by the chairman of the board of directors, Jose Mauro Mettrau Carneiro da Cunha.
Valim is currently working for the credit ratings consultants Experian as their president of operations in EMEA and Latin America.
He has previously worked as Oi’s CFO.
