Japanese bank Nomura has appointed Guy Hayward-Cole to a senior coverage role in its TMT team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Hayward-Cole joins from Oakley Capital, an asset management and financial advisory business. Prior to that, he led Merrill Lynch’s TMT advisory group and has also run Deutsche Bank’s TMT M&A group.
In a statement Nomura said Hayward-Cole has over 25 years of investment banking experience. He worked on the £2bn sale of Logica to CGI and the US$600m sale of Hit Entertainment to Mattel.
