Nokia has closed the sale of luxury phones brand Vertu to private equity fund EQT VI, the Finnish manufacturer said.

Nokia has closed the sale of luxury phones brand Vertu to private equity fund EQT VI, the Finnish manufacturer said.
The deal, thought to be worth around €200m, was announced in mid June.
Nokia said that as part of the transaction approximately 1,000 employees have transferred with Vertu. Nokia retains a 10% minority shareholding in the asset.
Deal terms were not disclosed, but it is thought that Goldman Sachs advised on the transaction.
