Polish telecoms operator NFI Midas has signed a letter of intent with equipment maker Huawei for the roll-out of an LTE network, according to media reports.
The Chinese supplier has agreed to provide vendor financing for the project, which will cost €235-300m.
NFI Midas is controlled by local businessman Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, who is also in the process of taking over the country’s second largest mobile operator Polkomtel.
