Polish investment company NFI Midas is buying mobile operator Aero2 for PLN548m (E172m), according to Telecompaper.
Local businessman Zygmunt Solors-Zak, which agreed to acquire the country’s second largest mobile operator Polkomtel last June, reportedly holds 66% of NFI Midas.
According to the report, the transaction will allow Solors-Zak to consolidate its radio frequencies for the roll-out of LTE throughout the country.
Aero2 holds 900 MHz and 2.5 GHz frequencies.
Neither NFI Midas nor Aero2 replied to requests for comments before press time.
