Alexey Kaurov has been appointed president and CEO of Russian fixed-line operator Comstar UTS from his position of CFO.
The appointment will only run from March 1 to April 1, which is the date of the completion of the merger between Comstar UTS and MTS. After this the CEO role of Comstar will disappear.
He replaces Sergey Pridantsev who has resigned.
