Kai-Ulrich Deissner will join Croatian incumbent T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) on 1 August for a period of three years.
Deissner first started at parent Deutsche Telekom in 2004 where he most recently served as board representative for operations, in charge of day-to-day steering of customer operations and transformational process design.
Davor Tomaskovic, who became T-HT’s CEO last December, said Deissner “brings strong experience gained across a range of senior managerial positions, both finance-related and in key areas directly linked with markets and customers”.
T-HT is the country’s largest telco with around 1.3 million fixed-line customers and 2.4 million mobile customers. Its main rivals are Telekom Austria’s Vip and Swedish-owned Tele2.
