TeliaSonera’s Azerbaijan mobile operator, Azercell, has appointed Chiril Gaburici as its new chief executive officer.
Currently general director of TeliaSonera’s Moldova unit, Moldcell, Gaburici will start his new role between mid-September and mid-October, a spokesperson for the Swedish parent group’s Eurasian businesses confirmed.
Gaburici will replace Ali Agan, set to join TeliaSonera’s Uzbekistan unit, Ucell.
