The board of Saudi Telecom (STC) has approved the appointment of Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al-Ghoneim as its CEO, effective as of 18 June 2012.
He replaces Saud Al-Daweesh, who gave his resignation in early April after almost three years at the helm of the company. No reason was given for his departure.
In late April, STC had named Abdelaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sugair as chairman of the board, replacing Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser.
