Miroslav Rakowski has been appointed CEO of Polish mobile operator PTC, replacing Klaus Hartmann, who will join parent company Deutsche Telekom as senior vice president responsible for corporate governance and stakeholder management.
Rakowski, who is currently customer service and sales director at T-Mobile Czech Republic, will take up his new position on January 1, 2011.
In addition, Grzegorz Bors, currently PTC’s managing director of private market, has been promoted director of strategy, marketing and sales, as well as management board member. He succeeds Michael Wilkens, who will return to the parent company to focus solely on his role as senior vice president of international businesses.
