Russian operator MTS announced a reduction of interest rates on Gazprombank credit facilities.
The annual interest rate was lowered from 9.5% to 8.75% in effect from 24 December 2010.
MTS said it also restructured the Euro-denominated share of the facilities amounting E200m into Russian rubles with the new interest rate of 8.75% (up from 7% on Euro-denominated facilities).
MTS is one of the three largest mobile operators in Russian with VimpelCom and MegaFon.
