Canadian telco and ISP Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) has issued C$200m (US$196m) in 4.59% medium term notes maturing in 2018.
Pierre Blouin, CEO of MTS, said: “Our ongoing ability to access capital markets speaks to the strong foundation of our business and the strength of our financial profile.”
MTS announced on 23 August that it had established a C$500m medium term note programme, under which the company could issue “up to $500 million” in medium term notes periodically over the following 25 months.
The joint lead arrangers and bookrunners are BMO Capital Markets and CIBC World Markets.
