The chief strategy officer of Orange’s Belgian operations will resign at the end of November. Olivier Ysewijn leaves Mobistar after seventeen years of service.
No reason was given for his departure but a Mobistar spokesperson said Ysewijn would be taking up a new challenge, and that the specifics could not be communicated at this time.
The telco also said it was not ready to comment on the process of finding a replacement.
Ysewijn joined Mobistar in 1996 and became a member of its executive committee in 2004. He has led the company’s corporate strategy, development & communication team and, for the last year, its business unit wholesales and roaming department as well.
Commenting on his departure, Ysewijn said: “I’m leaving with peace of mind: Mobistar has a clear strategy and the necessary means to realise its ambitions.”
