All three of Serbia’s mobile network operators have been registered to participate in the country’s upcoming spectrum auction.
Incumbent Telekom Srbija, Telekom Austria’s Vip and the local unit of Norway’s Telenor have all qualified to take part, telecoms regulator Ratel said in a statement.
The auction of 10-year, technology-neutral licences for frequencies in the 1,710-1,785 MHz and 1,805-1,880 MHz bands is set to take place on 19 February.
The starting bid price is €3.5m (US$4m).
