Dallas-based telco MetroPCS Communications announced yesterday that it is expanding its LTE network in Boston, New York City and Sacramento.
MetroPCS’s network is currently available in nine metropolitan areas, including Detroit, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
It said in its statement that it also planned to expand its network into more metropolitan areas this month and early next year. Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa will all be targets for this future expansion.
