Russian mobile operator MegaFon has increased its stake in South Ossetian mobile operator Ostelecom from 51% to 75%.
The Russian operator reportedly took full control of Debton Investment Ltd, which held a 51% stake in Ostelecom and in the Abkhazian operator Aquafon, in April 2009.
Both South Ossetia and Abkhazia are separatist regions from Georgia.
