MediaCorp has transferred its 7.46% holding in broadband and mobile operator StarHub to Singaporean state investment giant Temasek Holdings.
StarHub said in a statement: “The change in the percentage level is the result of a distribution of the 127,867,100 ordinary shares held by the company in StarHub to
Temasek Holdings as payment in respect of an interim dividend for the financial year ending 31 March 2010 as dividend in specie in lieu of cash dividend.”
MediaCorp has now exited from StarHub completely as a result of the transaction.
