Although M&A activity industrywide has been strong, investors will become more cautious if the cost of capital rises and that goes for both those new to space and those that have traditionally invested in space, Panahy previously told Connectivity Business News.
Panahy leads Milbank’s transportation and space group in Washington, D.C. His experience spans transactions as well as regulation and national security.
Last year, Panahy led procurement, commercial and regulatory efforts when Milbank advised PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara, aka PSN, and PT Satelit Nusantara Tiga, aka SNT, as sponsor and borrower, respectively, for the procurement and project financing for SATRIA-1, a high-throughput satellite project in Indonesia. The public-private partnership is valued a $545 million, according to Milbank.
Connectivity Business Summit, taking place June 14-15 in New York City, will explore the critical strategic and financial issues impacting the global satellite and terrestrial connectivity infrastructure and services industry. In addition to hearing industry leaders share their experiences, attendees will take away new insights and invaluable connections.
