Connectivity Business News will host “Capital investment: sources, trends and opportunities,” a webinar on capital availability and strategies for the space industry with Ram Viswanathan, president and chief executive of low Earth orbit satellite communications provider Omnispace, and Armand Musey, president and founder of satellite industry financial consulting firm Summit Ridge Group on Thursday, June 23, at 1 p.m. ET.
The webinar, the second of a four-part series, comes just one week after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 75 basis points and as investment in space is declining from the boom of 2021. Additionally, the consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine are becoming clearer, one example being the resulting popularity of non-Russian rockets.
Viswanathan sets the strategic direction for Omnispace which is building a unique 5G internet of things (IoT) constellation. The company announced ultra-low-cost sensor developer Lacuna Space and chip specialist Semtech (NASDAQ: SMTC) as manufacturing partners earlier this year.
An industry insider, Musey has completed numerous valuations, litigation support, strategic analysis and other assignments in the communications industry.
The two panelists will speak with Connectivity Business News Editor Alex Goldman on capital investment, sources, trends and opportunities for connectivity in Thursday’s webinar.
