The company, which wants to focus on UMTS development, wants to transfer its licence to rival WiMAX operator Max Telecom.
No financial details were revealed and Bulgaria’s Communications Regulation Commission still needs to approve the deal.
In addition to M-Tel and Max Telecom, Carrier.BG, TransTelecom and Nexcom hold WiMAX licences.
