US infrastructure firm Level 3 Communications announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to sell US$305m of its 11.875% senior notes due in 2019 in a private offering.

US infrastructure firm Level 3 Communications announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to sell US$305m of its 11.875% senior notes due in 2019 in a private offering.
The senior notes, priced at 98.173, will be sold to private institutional investors.
The company said in a statement that part of the net proceeds will be used to redeem the company’s 5.25% senior notes due in 2011.
The rest of the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The company expects the offering to be completed on 19 January.
