Former Ofcom spectrum broker Kip Meek has joined UK mobile JV Everything Everywhere (EE) as a special advisor.
The former chief policy officer at the UK telecoms regulator will report to Nicholas Ott, EE’s VP of planning, strategy and regulatory, and will work around 2.5 days a week.
An EE spokesman said the group, a 50-50 JV between UK mobile operators Orange and T-Mobile, was “very excited” about the appointment.
He said Meek has a strong background in content and broadband strategy, which are “big issues” for the JV at the moment.
