Li was promoted to manager of corporate strategy and market intelligence at SES in April 2021 after serving for five years as a senior analyst with the company. She previously served as principal market intelligence analyst for corporate strategy at satellite provider Intelsat (OTC: INTEQ) from 2015-2017.
SES, which reported earnings last week, recently renewed and extended a business deal valued at $90 million with telecommunications company Sky UK, SES Chief Executive Steve Collar said last week during the company’s earnings call. With the renewal, Sky UK will leverage the Ku-band capacity provided by SES to deliver TV channels in standard definition (SD), high definition (HD) and ultra-high definition (UHD) to subscribers in the U.K. and Ireland, according to a May 3 release.
“We combine a vast, intelligent, multi-orbit network of satellite and ground infrastructure with industry-leading expertise to manage and deliver high-performance video and data solutions virtually everywhere on the planet,” Li told Connectivity Business News.
