Qatar based Gulf Bridge International has signed a US$445m deal with the Iraq Telecommunications and Post Company (ITPC) to create a landing station for GBI’s fibre-optic submarine cable in Iraq.
According to Qatar’s Peninsula newspaper, GBI is expected to sign a number of other Landing Party Agreements during 2010.
