Tele2 to net SKr2.96bn from oversubscribed rights issue

Swedish telco Tele2 has announced that the rights issue aimed at maintaining its financial strength in connection with its purchase of TDC Sweden was oversubscribed and will net proceeds of some SKr2.96bn (US$321m). The capital hike will see Tele2’s share capital increase by SKr69.7m (US$7.56m) to SKr633.6m (US$68.7m).
