Rostelecom closes Aist acquisition

Russian state-controlled telco Rostelecom has completed the acquisition of Aist, an ISP in the Samara region, for Rbs1.42bn (US$22.1m) via its regional subsidiary Bashinformsvyaz. Aist will continue providing services under its own brand and its tariffs and conditions will remain unchanged, Rostelecom said in a statement.
