Netherlands-based NXP Semiconductors has agreed to sell its standard products business to a consortium of financial investors consisting of China’s JAC Capital and Wise Road Capital for US$2.75bn. Following completion, the business, which makes semiconductor parts used in consumer electronics, will be rebranded Nexperia.
