Brazilian long-distance provider Intelig has agreed a R$225m (US$133m) deal to provide telecoms services to the state government of Rio de Janeiro.
Intelig, which is part-owned by Telecom Italia owned local subsidiary TIM, will provide mobile services to 12,500 government employees, as well as any necessary fixed-line services.
