Indonesian operator Indosat is expected to launch its US$500m bond issue this week, according to Reuters.
As previously reported in TelecomFinance the operator will use the proceeds of the ten-year notes to refinance existing dollar denominated debt.
Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, DBS, HSBC and RBS have been mandated to arrange the deal, for which investor roadshows have been staged in Asia, London and the US.
Indosat will be hoping that recent defaults by Indonesian issuers will not affect the level of interest from investors.
