The Belgium telecoms regulator IBPT has announced new mobile termination rates on August 1.
Proximus will have to cut its MTRs from 7.2 eurocent per minute to 4.52 eurocent per minute, Mobistar from 9.02 to 4.94 eurocents per minute and Base from 11.43 to 5.68 eurocents per minute.
MTRs will be further reduced until January 1, 2013 to reach 1.08 eurocents per minute for all three operators.
