Philipp Humm will take over as CEO and president of T-Mobile USA earlier than the slated February 2011. The incumbent, Robert Dotson was due to step down in May 2011, but the handover has been completed much more quickly. T-Mobile was unavailable for comment. Humm spent his career at Deutsche Telekom and was CEO of T-Mobile Deutschland. He was previously responsible for sales and service in Europe as chief regional officer for Europe.
Dotson moves to vice chairman of the T-Mobile USA board. The company also re-aligned several executive leadership roles, with all transitions effective from next month.
