Israeli telco Hot Telecom, part of the Hot Group, has named Gil Sasportas as its new CEO.
Sasportas, a company veteran, will take office immediately and report to Hot Group CEO Hertzel Ozer.
He moves from his current role, managing Hot’s planning, infrastructure and technical businesses.
Sasportas has been with Hot and predecessor Golden Channels for a combined 17 years.
He takes over from Roni Sabag.
Last month the group’s chair Stella Handler left the telco following the take-private of the previously listed operator by French-Israeli financier Patrick Drahi.
The CEO of Hot’s mobile unit, Yaakov Nadvorani, also resigned with CFO Lior Haalman taking over the role on an interim basis.
Hot operates cable television, fixed-line, mobile and broadband services.
