Polish holding company Hawe has hired Piotr Kubaszewski to replace Krzysztof Witon as CEO.
Warsaw-listed Hawe, which provides telecoms and engineering services, said in a stock exchange filing that Kubaszewski’s appointment is effective immediately.
No reason was given for Witon’s departure and a company spokesperson was unable to provide further details.
Kubaszewski has been on the boards of Hawe’s subsidiaries for the past few years.
Hawe provides telecoms services to corporate customers via its subsidiary Hawe Telekom, which was merged with its Mediatel unit last September. It is also involved in constructing telecoms and electrical power networks, as well as in optic fibre leasing, data transmission and telecoms equipment distribution.
