GTS Central Europe has agreed to buy Interwave, a Hungarian provider of data centre services, for an undisclosed sum.
Interwave provides server hosting, collocation, internet and fixed voice services primarily for business customers. It operates two data centres in Budapest which provide 1,075 net square meters of collocation space and host 3,300 customer servers from the manufacturing, public, media and ICT sectors.
GTS currently operates seven data centres in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.
