Telecoms solution provider GTS Central Europe has closed the acquisition of Interwave, a Hungarian provider of data centre services, for an undisclosed sum.
The company said it would spend E550,000 in the next three months on the expansion of Interwave, which provides server hosting, collocation, internet and fixed voice services primarily for business customers.
Interwave will be merged into GTS Hungary, creating a combined business with annual revenues exceeding E62m.
It operates two data centres in Budapest which provide 1,075 net square meters of collocation space and host 3,300 customer servers from the manufacturing, public, media and ICT sectors.
GTS currently operates seven data centres in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.
