The Council of Ministers has decided to sell the shares in a public offering in domestic and/or international capital markets by the end of 2013, the Turkish incumbent announced in a short statement today.
The Turk Telekom Tender Commission will determine the exact timing of the sale, taking market conditions into account.
The treasury has a 31.68% stake in Turk Telekom. Riyadh-based Saudi Oger is the largest shareholder with a 55% stake.
