Tomas Franzen is stepping down as CEO of Swedish cableco Com Hem to head Stockholm-based media group Bonnier.
He will succeed Jonas Bonnier, who is leaving the family-owned group at the start of 2014.
Chairman Carl-Johan Bonnier said: “I’m extremely pleased to be bringing in Tomas Franzen, who has a solid and very successful background as a CEO. He has led companies with challenges that are similar in many ways to those that Bonnier companies face: distribution, digitalisation and understanding and facing changes in how media is consumed.”
