France will auction its remaining 3G frequencies next month, Jean-Ludovic Silicani told the Wall Street Journal.
Silicani, who heads the telecom regulator ARCEP, said the auction would consider all offers from all operators.
France’s 3G frequencies are divided in three lots, of which the first was sold to Iliad last month when it won the country’s fourth mobile licence.
The upcoming auction will therefore offer parties the chance to bid on the two remaining lots. These will have a minimum price of E120m each, a French government source told the newspaper.
