MTN Satellite Communications has appointed Joseph Wright as its new chairman of the board.
Wright served as chairman of Intelsat from 2006 to 2008 and was president and CEO of PanAmSat from 2001 to 2006.
He is currently a senior advisor to Providence Equity Partners and Chart Capital Partners and recently retired as CEO of Scientific Games Corporation. Wright also served as chairman of GRC International.
Wright has also held a number of senior government positions, including being a member of the Defense Business Board, National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee and the President’s Export Council.
