TelecomFinance has learned the details of yesterday?s £222m secondary buyout of German domain hosting firm Host Europe by Montagu Private Equity from Oakley Capital.
Of that total, £115m was debt, which came together through a club deal comprising Clydesdale, Commerzbank, HSBC, IKB, Lloyds and Societe Generale.
There are two equal 6 or 7-year tranches:
– an amortising tranche, which pays 425bp over Libor/Euribor
– a bullet tranche, paying 500bp
Oakley acted as co-adviser to itself alongside NM Rothschild, while Boston Consulting Group and Deloitte advised Montagu. The deal is pending approval by Germany’s Federal Cartel Office.
