US boutique bank Evercore Partners has hired Paul Deninger as a senior managing director.
Deninger will work out of the Boston and San Francisco offices and cover technology and clean tech.
He moves from Jefferies, where he was latterly vice chairman of investment bank Jefferies following its takeover of TMT focused boutique Broadview International, where he had been CEO.
Evercore recently advised Carlyle on its US$2.6bn acquisition of Syniverse Technologies, Intel on its US$1.4bn acquisition of Infineon’s wireless business, ACS on its US$8.2bn sale to Xerox, and the UK’s Pace Microtech on its US$475m acquisition of 2Wire.
