UAE mobile operator Etisalat has promoted executive Ahmed Alawadi to CFO following the resignation earlier this year of Salem Al Sharhan.
Alawadi joined the group in 1999, and has held several managerial positions in the group’s UAE and Saudi Arabia divisions.
In a brief statement to announce the appointment, the company stated: “Alawadi has demonstrated remarkable performance in the fields of accounting and finance and international investments.”
