Swedish handset maker Ericsson has appointed Angel Ruiz and Mats H Olsson to head its North America and China & North East Asia divisions respectively.
The departments oversee the group’s largest markets, Ericsson said in a statement.

Swedish handset maker Ericsson has appointed Angel Ruiz and Mats H Olsson to head its North America and China & North East Asia divisions respectively.
The departments oversee the group’s largest markets, Ericsson said in a statement.
Olsson joined Ericsson in 1982, founding several of its Asia offices before becoming president of operations in Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. He was most recently president of Ericsson Greater China.
Ruiz joined Ericsson in 1990 and held a variety of sales and managerial positions before being appointed president of Ericsson North America in 2001.
Both will report to president and CEO Hans Vestberg.
