Other parties mentioned in local media included CVC, although London based Financial News said the PE firm has left the auction process. The publication added Cinven to the list of bidders. The deadline for bids is said to be 8 August.
Slovenia aimed to privatise the telco before the end of the year, but there could be a delay following a recent decision to put all privatisations on hold pending the formation of a new government after the upcoming general election on 13 July.
The state, which is advised by Citi, has a 63% stake in Telekom Slovenije.
