EchoStar Satellite Services, a division of EchoStar Corporation, has announced the appointment of Ken Carroll as its new chief operating officer.
Carroll, previously president and COO of satellite broadband provider WildBlue, will be responsible for EchoStar’s operational oversight over capacity leasing, ViP-TV, and other satellite-related businesses.
Dean Olmstead, EchoStar’s president, said: “Ken brings solid financial and operational expertise in multiple segments of satellite services, which will be valuable as we move into the next growth phase for our business both domestically and internationally.”
