The Dutch Parliament has reportedly delayed a decision on its amended Telecommunications Act to define proposals concerning site fees and LTE incorporation.
More clarification is needed on the impact to cable networks if the digital dividend is used for LTE, and the fees operators will be able to charge third parties for access to their antenna sites, reported Telecompaper.
Later this month, parliament is due to consider whether the legislation coincides with a framework set out by the European Commission, the report adds.
Previously, the Act was set to be aligned to European law by May.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, which is responsible for the telecoms legislation, was unable to comment before the press deadline.
