Dutch mobile operators that were subject to a dawn raid by the antitrust regulator yesterday have expressed that they will co-operate with authorities.
The Dutch businesses of Vodafone and T-Mobile as well as KPN all confirmed that they are subject to the investigation which is looking into alleged cartel activity.
The Dutch competition authority, NMa, investigates “concerted practice with regard to mobile telecommunications offerings on the Dutch consumer market” and “Division of independent sales channels,” KPN said in a statement.
The regulator did not reply to requests for comment.
Vodafone Netherlands said that so far they have not seen convincing evidence of improper conduct of staff.
Results of the investigation are not expected anytime soon, according to Vodafone, which stated that it expects the NMa to study the possible evidence over the coming months.
