Total Access Communication (DTAC), Thailand’s second largest mobile operator, has named Petter Furberg as its new CFO with immediate effect.
Furberg most recently served as chief marketing officer for the company and had already acted as CFO between 2004 and 2007, “playing an important part in the successful listing of dtac in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2007,” the company said.
He replaces Vanna Pornsinsiriruk, who resigned at the end of April. Furberg will continue to serve as CMO as well as CFO.
DTAC is 65.5%-owned by Norwegian telco Telenor. Recently, another subsidiary of Telenor, Grameenphone in Bangladesh, appointed Fridtjof Rusten as its new CFO.
