The leading Turkish pay-TV platform Digiturk has signed a lease renewal agreement with Eutelsat for twelve transponders at the 7E orbital hotspot through to 2021.
The transponders are currently on board the W3A satellite, and are likely to be migrated over the course of the contract, given that W3A was launched in 2004.
The Digiturk platform was launched in 2000 and now broadcasts over 170 channels, including six in High Definition.
